Rx Recruiters recruits mail order pharmacists to mail order pharmacy facilities all across the nation. We maintain an exclusive relationship with several mail order pharmacies. One of our largest clients has current positions available in Florida, Texas, and Arizona. Mail order pharmacy is multi-dimensional. There are a variety of stimulating practice settings to choose from and retail pharmacists are extremely qualified for most positions. The positions employed by mail order pharmacy include clinical consultant pharmacists, call center pharmacist (such as the "Ask A Pharmacist" programs), production pharmacists, pharmacy management/supervisors, and formulary specialists. Managed care organizations and pharmacy benefit companies continue to grow and seek the services of experienced pharmacists for their mail order facilities. Jobs include mail order formulary management, quality control, and drug information management. Other positions include the following career tracks: Clinical Consultant Pharmacist - The pharmacist will employ tools to identify, prevent and resolve drug related problems, including fraud and abuse, and deliver quality pharmaceutical healthcare information and customer service to members and their physicians through a pharmaceutical care practice model when direct interaction is warranted. Call Center Pharmacist - Functions as a primary contact to handle incoming and outgoing calls from/to physicians and patients. Analyze intervention opportunities and/or inquiries by use of online databases and other resources to provide appropriate recommendations and responses. Provide ongoing education for the intervention and mail order programs. Deliver the highest quality healthcare and customer service to patients and physicians in a high paced call center environment. Production Pharmacist - Interpret and dispense patient medication in compliance with the state and federal laws which govern the practice of pharmacy. Provide oral and written information to both patients and physician. Perform drug regimen review. Supervise pharmacy technicians in all aspects of the production process. Pharmacy Management/Supervisors - Supervises pharmacists and technicians in performing various duties related to order preparation, order entry, Rx entry and fulfillment Ensures that production goals and quality components of work are maintained. Manages effective movement of staff to other areas within the facility to ensure prescriptions are processed in a timely manner. Responsible for meeting all financial goals for the department. Formulary Specialists/Pharmaceutical Liaison - Provides support and information to prescribing physicians regarding formulary management, cost/benefit analysis, continuing education, optimal therapeutic outcomes, generic prescribing practices. Performs seminars for physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals on all aspects of formulary management and best practices.
